Please note: The Warehouse Inventory Search Tool (WIST) is replacing the EOS Data Gateway (EDG). Beginning 25 June 2008, NSIDC requests that Registered Users migrate their user account(s) to WIST. To do this, please enter EDG as a registered user to begin the migration process. NSIDC data will no longer be available in EDG beginning 19 August 2008.

ASF Users who migrate their accounts to WIST should contact ASF User Services to verify that their WIST account is allowed to search and order ASF data. If you are an ASF user and have forgotten or misplaced your EDG password, ASF recommends you contact ASF User Services for assistance. For other data centers, you may wish to go straight to WIST at http://wist.echo.nasa.gov and "Create Account".

EDG Guest users: At this time we recommend all orders be placed through WIST at http://wist.echo.nasa.gov

       User migration from EDG to WIST will be unavailable during the scheduled maintenance on Monday, August 11th, 2008 from 7:00 am EST (11:00 UTC) to 1:00 pm EST (17:00 UTC).
    • JPL:
       PODAAC valids are only in EDG. They are not available in WIST/ECHO yet.
    • NSIDC:
       As of 19 August 2008, NSIDC data will no longer be available through the EDG. After this date NSIDC data will be available through WIST at http://wist.echo.nasa.gov

      NSIDC DAAC will not be able to accept requests for inventory or orders of our AMSR-E, ICESat/GLAS, MODIS, or NISE data holdings during the specified time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. Please contact NSIDC User Services for more information.
